MOONBASE® was idealized during the summer of 2016. We were working on a picnic table, stealing wifi from a Cuban nightclub and power outlets from a Kurdish car wash. We quickly secured our first location on Queen Street in Niagara Falls and started on renos—all while onboarding clients and running the most successful Niagara Falls event series of all time.
In January of 2017 we opened our doors and commenced operations as MOONBASE®. We launched our website in 2018 and hosted our grand opening, followed by an afterparty with our boy Roy Woods. One of our first major projects was none other than A$AP Rocky's TESTING. To this day, we still receive praise for our involvement and execution.
We outgrew our first location almost as soon as we started. In 2019 we moved locations to a place 4 times as big as our original spot and started building our team. We've been at the current location in Downtown St. Catharines for over 3 years.
Today MOONBASE® has a team of 8 members, a fully operational creative and music studio, and a portfolio that features every major music label from SONY RCA to Warner. We’ve worked with artists such as Rocky, Nast, Khalid, PartyNextDoor, Teddy Walton and Juicy J to name just a few. As well as other major players like Kawhi Leonard, VLONE, Reebok and Cookies.
Our main focus is to continue onboarding young creatives from our local community and impacting the future of the creative industries worldwide. Thank you to everyone that's supported us along the way—all of our collaborators and each of our clients, past and present.
